Newberg, OR –The Newberg School District will have two remodeled schools opening in September 2004. Mountain View Middle School will receive a new mechanical system with minor room changes, while Ewing Young Elementary will reopen with new offices, classrooms, entry and revamping of existing classrooms. A new library, an open air library court and a cafeteria will be the major new spaces featured at Mabel Rush Elementary when work is completed in early 2005.

HAZELBROOK SCHOOL FINISHES FIRST ADDITIONS 6 MONTHS EARLY

Portland, OR – Hazelbrook Middle School has four additions totalling a three million dollar project. A and B additions were scheduled for July 2004, but A finished in January and B finished in March. C and D addition are due August 2004 and should meet or be finished prior to this deadline as well.

ST. FRANCIS PARISH SCHOOL JOB USES GREEN BUILDING PRINCIPLES

Sherwood, OR – One of the foremost green building principles is the use of onsite materials in the building. RGPI, will be employing this principle in using the trees cleared from the job site to produce 2800 board feet of lumber to be used in the building's structure. Additional green building conciderations will be taken in processing the trees close-by. Cedar Creek Custom Sawing, practically right down the street, will provide milling and delivery.
